Make a note of November 9–17, 24 (fall) on your calendar.
If a boutique or designer would like to present, they must have a minimum of ten original runway designs, be able to communicate effectively and on schedule, and have a fully developed collection concept and vision.
Forbes has referred to Dallas as “a trusted alternative to New York as a platform for emerging talent”. Having stated that, DFW is still open to new talent. The audience and a team of judges vote on who they would want to see at the next DFW show, and those two winners are then announced. DFW conducts an Emerging Designer Challenge each season.
